I served as a prison officer in three of the toughest london jails for seven years. Before that was in the British Infantry Regiment the Royal Green Jackets. I have written my book to expose the unprofessional conduct and bullying that I witnessed bieng carried out by many British Prison Officers as well as including my experiences growing up and in the British Army.

Background Information

The book chronicles my life experiences from growing up on RAF bases and holidaying in the South Wales valleys at my Grandparents homes to joining the British Army at sixteen. I have included my experiences in the 2nd btn Royal Green Jackets. Two tours of Northern Ireland in the eighties had not prepared me for what I was to find when I began a career with the British prison service in 1992. A friendship I struck up with charlie bronson and my hatred of bullying in all forms made me write my experiences. It has never been done before or again a prison officer breaking ranks to bring you some of the shocking truth of what can and does go on behind the closed world of our crumbling Prison system.
