I love life, as I am sure all of you do.I do my very best to find enjoyment with most anything I do. A very long time ago I found out the hard way how precious life is.
I am a wife and mother of grown children. I put myself through college and have been employed ever since. First as a bookkeeper, later as an accountant. I currently work part time out of my home.
My husband and I are contributors to the preservation and restoration of Colonial Williamsburg and Mount Vernon. We have recently added The Gettysburg Foundation and the 9-11 Memorial Site. For more interesting information regarding the Gettysburg Foundation you can visit their website at:
www.gettysburgfoundation.org
For anyone who may be interested, Colonial Williamsburg has an innovative and ingenious way to bring Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown in the classroom through their "Electronic Field Trip Series." If you would like more information you can call 1-800-761-8331 (9:00 am - 5:00 pm M-F) or visit their website at:

A few of my interests include reading articles pertaining to history, science and politics. Other interests include working on puzzles, When I complete a puzzle, I mount it and make a frame for hanging. I also have a few three D puzzles that have been encased in a cage of plexi-glass. I currently have an eight thousand piece three D puzzle of Manhattan Island with the Twin Toweres yet to tackle.
We also enjoy RV camping, music of all types, NASCAR, IRL, New York Yankees and sharing what I make or grow with others around me.
I keep busy and active and enjoy every minute! I have three very adorable female cats Cherokee, Alexandria (Alex) and Cassandra (Cassie) , two very loud and active parakeets (Zues and Herculana) and a vegetable garden in my backyard. Very recently we have added to our growing family two extremely adorable female Miniature Schnauzers, Samantha (Sami) and Victoria (Vickie). Never a dull moment around our home.
As spring approaches my husband and I clear the small patch of land in our yard and plant Roma tomatoes, corn, zuccini, green bell peppers, watermelon, cantaloupe, eggplant, parsley and oregano. Usually by mid summer we have enough vegetables to begin putting baskets together to share with family members and friends.
