	I was born in Springfied, but raised in Kenton, Ohio. I am a graduate of Kenton Senior Hight, Class of 68. After high school, I enlisted in the Marine Corps and did my boot training at MCRD San Diego. I stayed with them for ten years, a year of which was serving with 26th Marines and 5th Marines, 1st Marine Div., Vietnam. After returning from Vietnam, I spent time as a security guard and tour guide for the Marine Corps Museum at Quantico, served on the staff of the Hawaii Marine and Camp Lejeune Globe as feature writer and assistant editor.
