As a very shy child--in a very UNshy family, the local library was my sanctuary. Within the worlds of fiction, I found my home -- the place where I was never alone, never lonely. I could -- but was not required -- to be anyone but myself. I could make easy, but true friends. I was free. Free to fly to other worlds.... to travel across time.
As a writer, I speak especially to those in search of home. My characters, find themselves standing in the shadows; on the outside of life's circle -- until they discover that they can transform their world -- by shifting the light by which they perce more...
