| Major influences are Oscar Wilde, P.G. Wodehouse and the early New Yorker writers like E.B. White, Robert Benchley, Dorothy Parker, James Thurber and Ring Lardner.
I studied for 5 years at Chicago's famed Second City Improv Theatre under Del Close and Paul Sills. I also had my own improvisational comedy group that plated in clubs around the city.
I am from Chicago but have lived in S.E. Asia for the past 18 years. My wife and I currently reside in a wooden Khmer style bungalow beside the Kampot River in southern Cambodia.
