I became interested in writing while in high school. While in High School I started publishing poetry and short stories in my high school’s literary magazine. After high school, I enrolled in California University of Pennsylvania where I majored in professional writing. While there, I honed my writing skills in hopes of obtaining a job in the field of advertising. After graduation, I was faced with the reality that entry level copywriting jobs were not going to help me pay off the student loans I accrued.
