Dr. Carter doesn't like to toot his own horn. However, he was born into a devout, very poor Christian family of tenant farmers. They prayed a lot. He noticed nothing they prayed for ever
manifested, a fact which influenced much of his later research and writing endeavors. He enlisted in the Air Force to get the GI Bill so he could go to college. After a total of 28 years of schools and universities, he became a philosopher, scientist and amateur historian, worlds in which proof is paramount.
