What began as a hobby turned into a full-time writing career at age 40. I worked first as a freelance journalist and humor columnist for more than a decade before my first book, Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road , was published in 2006. The book has been featured on WFAA (an ABC affiliate) Good Morning Texas and other TV and radio programs.
