After retiring from 26-years active duty in the United States Coast Guard, he's continued to grow in the literary field. His short story, The Rocking Chair , won first place in the national 2003 Otherworlds Sci-Fi short story contest. His first novel, Chronicles of the HEDGE , received 5-star reviews on Amazon.com.
