My educational background includes the following degrees--an AB from Earlham College where I was First Honor Student and an MD from Johns Hopkins Medical School. Following that, I finished an internship and residency in Medicine at the University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, IL. As a postdoc, I trained as an Infectous Disease specialist at Northwestern University in Chicago with Dr. Phil Patterson and then at the Univ. of Colorado with Dr. Ted Eickhoff.
