I'm a former journalist for organizations including the Wall Street Journal, Knight-Ridder and NBC who has worked extensively both in Asia and in the US. My fiction has appeared in Thema, Carve, Small Spiral Notebook and Confrontation Magazines. I majored in English and Asian Studies at Amherst College, have a degree in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and an MFA in fiction from Columbia University.
