Silver Creek
Six years ago John left home, swearing
he would never return. But his father is in trouble. Their neighbor, Tim Hostetter was murdered. His riders are gone and Garrett cattle are grazing
his range. One of Russ Blaine's riders was killed. Mason Garrett and Rafe Willis are pushing Blaine hard to sell Silver Creek. They need the water.
Will Garrett kill to get it? On his way home, John shoots a bully in a poor town and is wounded escaping the posse.
Watching for bushwhackers, Andrea Blaine finds John and helps him hide in Alec Gunnison's cabin. When his wound is healed, John joins Del Ketchum, cattleman turned deputy sheriff, to search for the real killers and try to clear his father's name.
REVIEWS
Richard A. Bartlett, Author of Great Surveys Of The American West says: "The author knows the land, horses, weaponry, terminology of ranchland people, and even the characters, so realistic do they seem. This Western is a cut above the average---a real page turner."
