I am a Kenyan-born novelist, scriptwriter and Internet technologist. I am also deeply involved in theatre and I have written several plays, including 'Hannah and the Angel' and The Stacy Walker Interview'.
I was born on 23rd April which, by a happy coincidence, is also William Shakespeare's birthday (he was born on 23rd April, 1564)! From a young age, I was a voracious reader of books but it wasn't until our high school English teacher told her other students, 'I wish you you could all write the way Alexander does!' that I decided to become a career writer.
In 2001, I became Africa's first e-novelist with the publication of 'When the Whirlwind Passes', a crime/suspense novel. Since then, I have penned plays, poems, short stories, novels and song lyrics. My writings are available English, Japanese and Arabic.
