Background Information

Ame Ai is a mix of Phil Collins, Erica Jong, Nicole Krauss, and Allen Ginsberg. She is a poet, artist, and lyricist in the Washington DC area with an adroitness in speaking and writing and is musically talented. She enjoys consuming classic literature in quietness and seclusion away from the hustle and bustle of large groups. Ame does her best work when she is introspective and contemplative, however she tries to keep her keen analytical skills to her work and not her relationships. In her work she can be sensually romantic, sexual, spiritual, philosophical, and dark. She hopes to inspire and lead through the spoken and written word. Ame was motivated to write because she loves to create and hopes for success and immortality through the literary world.

Love, Not Love was her first published book of poems (October 2008). Since then she has written six more books. Her next project is Prison, Poetry, and Purpose-Full Songs. Her Web site is

The Meaning of a Metaphorical Life of Inductive Thoughts Understood Through Identity (Religion) and Memory (History): Uncensored Edition
The goal of this blook (blog book) is to transcribe my memoir, detailing my life from birth to age 22, from PDF to a more interactive format. I will leave the original text as untouched as possible, but will delete unnecessary parts that do not add value, change names to protect privacy, and fix general spelling, grammar, and punctuation. The validity of this work hinges on the separation between the writer (myself as a youth) and the editor (myself as an adult). I prefer a modern Web 2.0 blog format because this blook relies heavily on references and footnotes (think House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski or CPR for Dummies by Mickey Z.), which work best as links and comments (a special feature commentary from both my younger and older selves). While using this blook, please keep in mind that categories refer to parts, or sections.
