Andrea is foster mother to a Helping Hands capuchin monkey, host mother to two foreign exchange daughters from Holland & Spain, and real mother to two sons. She and husband, Michael, are originally from Cleveland, Ohio.

• I began as a regular contributor to educational magazines, writing profiles. I have been a columnist writing "No Stone Unturned" for La Villa News (has authored over 700 columns in more than ten years).
• While I am an author first, I teach online workshops on technical subjects for both the Romance Writers of America's Kiss of Death chapter and Painted Rock Writers and Readers Colony.

• I am also trained as a Forensic Reconstruction Sculpture, and just recently, have learned Forensic Comprehensive Composite Art. • In addition, I am an expert in Graphology or handwriting analysis, have studied Behavioral Profiling with John Douglas, FBI Special Agent (ret.) and frequently attend forensic science workshops.
• Ziggy, a capuchin monkey, lives with us. She belongs to Helping Hands and will one day be a helper/companion to a quadriplegic. I have written a book about our life together.
