I came here to Authorsden to meet others who write.

To share with each other.

I would like to share with you so you know who I am and I would like to get to know who you are..

I came from an abusive background in childhood and married into abuse. I am alive to share that we can have a good life no matter where we came from.

I have gotten out of that prison I lived in...

I have became free from the prison inside of me.

I was given up for adoption when I was five months old and in 2005 I found my birth mother.

In 1995 I got clean and sober. That was when I let the Spirit touch me and direct me, my life has changed for the better...

As I shared with you at the top if this page, I  am a Lupus advocate I was diagnosed with Lupus (SLE) and fibromyalgia in 2004 and that has changed my life and made me really stop and look at where my life is taking me.

Since I was diagnosed with Lupus (SLE) I have had to change my ways and have had to come to a different way of living. I do not do the things I used to do any more.

I used to be very active and danced Ballet and Jazz. 

I worked as a waitress for years and was always keeping busy.

In 2003 I woke up and was not able to get out of bed I was 38 years old and was put in a wheel chair for most of that year. At that time I did not know I had Lupus I found out about a year later then was put on medication and because of the medications I am walking with a cane and walker some days I do use a walker depending on the day.

My goal now in life is to share with others about Lupus and give support to people who have Lupus and to their families. I try to keep updated with Lupus and keep updated with the new findings. I want to help educate what Lupus is even if you do not have Lupus you may know someone who does, or you may have Lupus and not even know it.

I had Lupus for a few years and did not even know I had it.

As you continue to read through the pages here on Authorsden you will read more information about Lupus and Fibromyalgia how it has changed my life and others. You will read about Alcoholism and Drug addiction. Child abuse and much more.

The reason I am sharing my story through my websites and my book, is because I would like to share my life and how I found joy and love from going within.

I want to share with you that no matter where we come from, what we did, what we have; we can have a good life. We can be happy and we can be free.

No matter what life brings us we have the strength from inside of us to get through anything.

Some people have asked me why do I write?

I write because I find answers.

When I write the Spirit takes over and that is where I find the answers. I believe that the Spirit works through all of us. When I write I am in total peace and serenity.

I write about my feelings, experiences in life, and my relationship with the Spirit.

When I write I am free.

I never called myself a writer I just share my thoughts and put them on paper now here at Authorsden I am able to express myself and meet others who are doing the same thing.

Besides writing I have been a Lupus advocate for a few years.

I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2004. When I found out I had Lupus I felt like it was a death sentence. I had no idea of what Lupus was, or what Lupus does to a person. I was scared and full of fear, so what I did was search on line about lupus. I read up on what Lupus does to a person. I did searches lots of reading, and I started to ask questions to people on line who I never met. I just knew they had Lupus, so I started talking with them. They helped me a lot I found out that I am not alone and I can make a good life for myself.
