I write to show that love and communication are the basic tools for holding relationship. In the end relationships are all we have that tell us we're alive. Relationships are how we experience love. Relationships are God.
Imagination is the key to freedom.
The artist's job is to nurture and unleash imagination in others.
Accomplishments: Licensed psychotherapist,wife, mother and painter. A graduate of Duke University, I earned my MA in Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California, and then, in 1999, after a five year internship, a license to practice psychotherapy in the State of California.
I then received my MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, Port Townsend, Washington--was one of the first 3 graduates to pass through the doors of Goddard West in July 2006.

| On July 18th, 2007, I read an excerpt from my first publication, a collection of short stories, "Keeper of Secrets...Translations of an Incident," at the Hurston-Wright Writers' Week on the campus of American University in Washington, D.C. I will be reading again from "Keeper of Secrets...Translations of an Incident," on July 23rd, 2007 at Shakespeare & Co. Bookstore in Paris, France, 7 pm. |
