New York native Anthony Beal has spent the past twenty years studying and exploring various food cultures. He has lived and spent extended periods in multiple locales throughout the United States, and has thereby acquired an ever-expanding knowledge of regional food customs and cooking methods. He continues to pursue new food/cooking-related knowledge and discover new restaurants to be shared through his writing.

Anthony Beal is also an accomplished fiction and poetry writer, and the author of Funereal Diseases of the Mind: Fifteen tales of dark erotica(Krysalgen Publishing, ISBN 9780578022123). He has published in over one hundred print and online publications. These publishing credits include frequent contributions to The EroticWoman.com as well as to all three volumes of the Dark Dreams horror anthology series edited by award-winning horror novelist Brandon Massey, and to the Chocolate Flava 2: Succulent anthology edited by New York Times best-selling author Zane. His short fiction and poetry have been appearing in print and online publications since 2001.

Several of Anthony's horror works have received Bram Stoker Award recommendations.

Published in 2009, his first collection of short dark erotica is on sale now, titled "Funereal Diseases of the Mind: Fifteen tales of dark erotica." (ISBN 9780578022123) Already garnering positive reviews, this work can be purchased at Amazon'com, BarnesandNoble.com, Books-A-Million, Powell's Books, and elsewhere. Most recently, Anthony has joined the editorial staff of Sex and Murder Magazine as its new Fiction Editor.
