I have been a poet for almost 40 years.
My inspirations have come from many poets including Kay Ryan,Louise Gluck, Rita Dove and many more too numerous to mention. Some of my favorite poems include poems by Robert Frost and Emily Dickinson.

I am a poet/author/lyricist and the mother of five grown children.
I was married to my soul mate and husband of 17 years until he recently passed away this past month.
He was my twin flame and his spirit will stay with me forever. Many of my love poems were written about him. The past two years many of my poems became my inspiration for songs.
I am a member of BMI and will continue to work on new lyrics for future songs.
In 1997 I self-published a fictional children's book to discourage children from joining gangs. An ebook will become available this year and in addition, I am working on my first chapbook of poetry.
I get my inspiration from everyday life and everyday people, and I love to people watch. Sometimes my emotions are triggered by everyday events and the people surrounding them. I love to smell the roses so to speak. Laughter has been my best medicine. It helps me to overcome obstacles and think clearly. Meditation is crucial to my existence. It helps me to touch base with my soul and who I am. My poetry is deeply expressed by my innermost emotions.
