After losing a son to caregiver abuse, I decided the best way to honor his passing was by telling his story! Michael was born with a disability making it easy for anyone to take advantage of him. In 1995, Michael died from a feeding tube error and negligent homicide. Unfortunately, his caregivers were never held accountable for their actions. "Living in a Place Called Beautiful"  will enlighten you to the dangers of caregiver abuse and neglect. It was written as an educational tool and based on a true story.
