B. LaDell Cook, whose  pen name is Ayo J. Ashanti takes great joy in copywriting, editing, mentoring, designing jewelry, and producing internet radio programs, as well as publicizing other christian writers and media artists.  She have been featured on Divine Caroline,  MySpace, ShoutLife, and Heart Beat World.

When she is not writing and producing her own work, she loves to write music reviews and read biographies.  An avid Blogger, Ms. Cook has also published 3 books, Rightly Dividing The Word, Moments In Thought, and one in particular, The Prolific Soul's Dictionary, is a project that she particularly enjoyed writing while taking care of her mother in her final days.

She spent more than 20 years in corporate business and has been given the opportunity to embarked upon a new life in the "Valley of the Sun." A new work is currently in progress entitled, "Profound Things People Say," which is a compilation of thoughts of 21st Century Thinkers, i.e. musicians, artists, teachers, ministers, etc..
