Barbara Mitchell is a Doctor of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Certified Stress Management Consultant and Certified Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).   She continues to study cutting-edge therapeutic techniques and has added Quantum Focus and Waking Hypnosis with Children to her multidisciplinary background. 

Dr. Barbara is the author of, "When You Need a Timeout", a book of stress-busting exercises, diet tips, motivational examples and pampering techniques with the busy woman in mind.   Her newest release is a soothing relaxation CD, "Just Relax...Like This" which features the top five techniques - breathwork, affirmations, meditation, visualization and progressive relaxation (BAMVP)- in her book.  She discusses her book and "BAMVP" in her TV interview on The Balancing Act on Lifetime Television which can be viewed at http://www.thecalmingbreath.com
