I grew up the youngest of five in a small town by the ocean. My father was a muscian, so I loved music and the words in the songs. Poetry was always a passion of mine. However, I never really applied myself to writing until I returned to college. Mostly I wrote essays and research papers, then I realized maybe I should try putting my feelings down on paper. Once I did this the words just kept flowing. Friends and family encouraged me to keep writing and so here I am.

Accomplishments: I have recently published my first book, Feelings of Love and Loss.

I am newly married in December and just returned from Pakistan. I will be leaving again for Pakistan and Morocco in February to continue my research I am conducting for my thesis and dissertation as well as my books I am currently writing for myself and with others. I will be graduating in May 2008 with two degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, as well as two certifications in Criminal Profiling and Behavioral Forensics. Then I will continue on to another degree in August. I am currently working on my second book of poetry called Through The Windows To My Soul and a Childrens book of poetry called The Keeper Of Dreams and a novel called Desires Of The Heart. In addition I am co-writing a textbook with my dear friend on communication and two other textbooks with two professors on Cultural Diversity and Sociology. Also, I am honored to now be editing a book for another dear friend that is publishing his first book of poetry.
