Bill was born (Frank William Garrett Jr.) April 17, 1947 In Charlotte, N.C. He graduated from Carolina High School in Greenville, S.C. After working in his fathers business and with Vietnam escalating he began a 20 yearAir Force career in 1969. His college experience was varied through courses offered on military bases primarily through the University of Maryland. After his retirement from the military Bill spent 11 years with the United States Postal Service and in 2004 retired again. However, if you should decide to purchase his books he would be more than happy to start a new career in creative writing. He now resides in Longs, SC with his wife Jeannie and yorkshire terrier Teaser. His daughter, Robin, Son-in-law, Doug and four grandchildren, Amy, Meghan, Sophia and Eli reside in Ohio. Amy is a college freshman. His sisters Fran and Gina live in Arizona. In addition to writing he enjoys golfing with friends old and new.
