I write in the naturalist/realist tradition and can claim Anne Tyler, Ethan Canin and Philip Roth as inspiration. If you like their work, you'll like mine. My latest book is What You Wish For, a contemporary family saga dealing with the issue of assisted dying. Still, it's not that dour. There are also laughs, courtroom drama, quirky characters and three non-traditional love stories.
My other books are all over the map, from Belonging, which is rural and wholesome, to Gomez, which is urban and kinky. Sorry, but there's no rules. I write what compels me and what I hope will compel you.
Please check out my published stories too. Three of them are among the six titles on this site.
