As an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer, Bob Corley frequently found himself writing and verbally presenting Engineering Design Change Requests to various branches of our military while employed in San Diego, California’s Aerospace Industry.
After retirement in 1995, Bob moved to Denver, Colorado where he began redirecting his writing and speaking abilities toward assisting the elderly as a volunteer.
Through his volunteering efforts he quickly recognized the real value of his ability at telling and writing stories and in getting others to preserve and share their own stories for future generation to enjoy.
He attributes his most recent published work "REFLECTIONS IN TIME" to his having spent his youth 'growing up' in the cotton country of southeast Missouri during the middle of the last century. He has focused the content of the book on what he beleives adequately portrays the body, soul and spirit of America. The 316 page three part book has obtained outstanding endorsements from Missouri State Representative Dr. Terry Swinger as well as from Dr. David V. Young of Washington, DC.

Bob Corley has always found his greatest satisfactions comes through reading and his involvement in listening to and telling stories to old and young alike. When asked to speak to either young or elderly groups he frequently says that seeing a ninety-year-old person “belly roll” with laughter is a form of “priceless” compensation. He is frequently told by older readers that on hearing or reading of his stories they are reminded of many episodes of their own childhood days, only adds to his many rewards.

On Jan 17th 2007, Bob was rushed to a Denver hospital where a previously lime sized unknow 4.5 malignant tumor was discovered and immediately removed from his head. He is now undergoing six weeks of chemo and radiation treatment. When frequently asked, "Bob, how are you doing?" HE always responds by saying, "I am fine. With my faith toward God and my hope upon the Lord I continue as always before by awakening each day stepping into the unknown portion of life TRUSTING LIKE A CHILD. While doing so I am comforted by my favorite scripture in Jerimiah 17:8.
"Blessed is the man who puts his faith towards God and his hope upon The Lord, for he shall be as a tree planted by the water... whose roots go deep and in times of drought will never cease to bare fruit."
