Primarily a playwright, my plays have been produced across the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and India. My first short play "Opposites Attract" has been translated into Romanian, Spanish and Catalan for productions in Bucharest, Peru and Spain. Before turning to playwriting I wrote for television and the movies. I am best known for writing the "moo goo gai pan" episode of "The Bob Newhart Show" which was named by TV Guide as one of the ten best television episodes of all time. Most recently my first short story "Hardboiled Hamlet" has become available on Amazon Shorts.

Hardboiled Hamlet
It ended like most of my cases with everybody dead. The name's Thyme, Justin Thyme. I work for the fictional bureau of investigation. That's right I'm a fictional detective. That's why King Hamlet dropped a dime to tell me something was rotten in the state of Denmark. But, before the old guy could cry murder most foul somebody croaked him and I was up to my peepers in betrayal, revenge, murder, a king named Claudius who wanted me dead, a prince called Hamlet who couldn't decide what he wanted and a heavy breathing skirt named Ophelia who wanted everything, including me.
