Carol Ann Culbert-Johnson is a native of Chicago, Illinois, the windy city. I am forty-seven years old. I started writing when I was fourteen years old, poems and short stories. I continued writing until I reached publication. Sterling/MacFadden came into my life, and published my very first short story. I continued to write nineteen (19) short stories for Sterling. The process in writing for the magazines was a slow process, I decided to take some of my stories and put into novel form. This is when "I Confess." was born.I'm working on "I Confess 2."I work at a clinic, but it's my goal to write on a full-time basis. I love writing and reading because it's my joy.

I have graduated from Kaplan College with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Science on October 6, 2006. I am continuing my education with creative writing courses, and paralegal courses.
