Struggled with self-doubt and inferior complex most of my life.  Through writing, I've released many emotions which have been suppressed for many years.  I realized, Carolyn Dooley is not a failure, she can learn as others.

Accomplishments: Earned GED in 1976 and Adult High School Diploma in 1989.  Became a Certified Nurse Assistant in 1994.  Nominated poet of the year, every year since 1992, until present.  Received many Certificate of Academic Excellence Awards and Certificates of Course Completions by taking classes at Universal Class.com Inc.  Earned a few diploma's through home study courses.  Received many Editor Choice Awards for poetry.  Presently, I'm taking on-line courses at Universal Class.com

You may view my poetry at www.Poetry.com   My first novel was published in 1995 --'Shades of Grey-Unmasked' by Carolyn Dooley, the publisher went bankrupt.  Of course, I was discouraged and the books have been sitting in a box on my front porch.  So, yesterday, I got them out and signed them.  Maybe one day, I will become known and someone may want a signed copy. At this point or time in my life, I just want to help people who are in need.  When I leave this world, I can go knowing, I Carolyn Lott Dooley from Alabama, who failed the third grade, who felt like a failure for all of these years can rest in peace.  My goals and needs have or are being met and I am happy as a lark.  God Bless you all.   Soon to be released my second novel.'Walk A Mile In My Shoes" Fiction; yet, many incidents in the book contain actual true stories.
