HARVEST AT SEA

Upon our little boat we sat
amidst an ocean vast and gray
Four men, cold and lost at sea
No life, nor a prayer to pray

‘Twas our fault our vessel sank
we were dumb, to say the least
The howling wind and pouring rain
now takes the place of a wholesome feast

It was our call---I say again
Dirty dogs were we
And now we must pay for our dirty sin
and drift about at sea
