Byzantia - Not! Byzantium is correct!
Conga - a dance! Place is Congo!
Corona - a light, not a place!
Euphoria - a feeling, not a place!
Helvetia - female personification for Switzerland, not a place!
Hysteria - an emotional state, but not a physical place!
Jambalaya - a Cajun recipe, or dish, not a place!
Nineva - purely made-up, real place was Nineveh!
Nivea - a skin care product, not a place!
Odea - plural of odeum, an ancient building!
Quecha - a language, or Indian people!
Xom Xa Xia - I CHEATED - place in Viet Nam!
Zona Pelludica - sperm stopper envelope around ovum!


NOTE:
In checking some spellings, found a dozen more cities,
In Spain alone, that end in ‘a.’
