The Third Annual Cross Country Pet Adoption Event

“Animals are such agreeable friends,

They ask no questions, they pass no criticisms.”

 George Elliot

Please join animal advocates and animal shelters all across America in support of FIDO Friendly® Magazine and the North Shore Animal League of America, as they team up for the 3rd Annual ‘Get Your Licks on Route 66’ National Mobile Pet Adoption Tour.

This life-saving event kicked-off on September 7th, 2011, at the Second Chance Center for Animals in Flagstaff, Arizona.

From that location, their mobile pet adoption vans are traveling all across the U.S. to raise awareness of the importance of adopting a homeless pet from an animal shelter instead of purchasing one from a pet store or a breeder, especially today when all of the shelters in our vast nation are now so very sadly overflowing with so many homeless animals in dire need of a new home, and a second chance at life.

‘Get Your Licks on Route 66’ will pursue its mission to save pet lives through 16 adoption events in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah.

For a schedule of all of their many stops and wonderful pet adoption events on this extremely worthwhile cross country endeavor, please visit the following website:

And please come out somewhere along the line to get your own Licks on Route 66, and to help us save some more lives.

Please Make Adoption,

Your First Option
