the gifts of life through love's bounty

Love's Bounty

she called to the the flocking sparrows
where fragrant lilies captured tender perfumes
as she gave witness to the beatitudes of eventide...

resting peaceable within her thoughts
she carried memories as cherishable moments
and then she offered her soul to explore
as a mountaineer hiking to the heavens...

she took off her clothes to reveal her warm body
and the tenderness of her skin as she submerged herself
into ponds of still water where the catfish and minnows spawn...

watching the snowy egrets standing still as an unseen moment in time
she realized with certainty listening to the red wings and cow birds
just how beautiful her life is to know the forces of love's bounty...
