A workwork for those who have been sexually abused. . .

Sexual abuse takes away who you were suppose to be.  Not only were you abused sexually but you were stripped of your dignity. . I was three or four and again at age eight.  Sexual abuse stays with you until you have the courage to change your life. .

"The Courage to Heal Workbook," gives you all the tools you need to make choices to change emotionally, mentally, physically and sexually. It is a process and you will have many, many days of tears. This book is also for men.

"Ellen Bass and I wrote The Courage to Heal to give hope and guidance to adults who had been sexually abused as children When you are feeling lost, scared, and confused, you need to know that you aren't the only person who has suffered.  You need to be told that you aren't weird or crazy, that the abuse was not your fault.  You need to be reassured that a lot of your feelings and experiences are a direct result of being sexually abused.  You need to know that healing is possible, that there is a way out, and that you're cabable of finding that way.  These are the basic messages we communicated in The Courage to Heal."  That was Laura Davis, the  co- author.  She too was abused, she KNOWS.

If you were sexually abused, just remember so was I and if I've been able to have the courage to stand up SO DO YOU!!
