I know that many of you are saying, " Robert has finally lost it ". Well, you can google the story and check for yourself. I heard about the story from a police friend but sat on it for weeks until I got a confirmation and proof that other sites confirmed it.
Police Officer Robert Melia, 38, worked for the Moorestown, New Jersey Police Department. His fellow officers raided his home and seized a computer and pornagraphic materials.
He is accused of molesting three children and when authorities viewed the tape, they saw something that surprised them...the officer apparently was having sex with barn animals...COWS. I'm not joking, COWS. So they charged him with four counts of animal cruelty.
Now if this story doesn't prove what I've been saying for years, then I or no one can convince you...that some police officers are no different than common criminals. A rogue cop is capable of anything. If not for those poor kids and their families, this story would be funny!
His bond is set at $510,000 and he's jailed in the Burlington County Jail.
My take: (If he's guilty. All mentioned are innocent until proven guilty).
First, I'm happy that they didn't give him "paid" leave. Many of you know how that just aches me. Paid leave is a vacation, period! No police officer accused of a serious crime should earn money while they wait for a trial. This could take years! If you and I were accused of a serious crime, we're fired!
Secondly, I've attempted to learn how long he was a cop. If he was a cop for many years, what could he have done that we don't know about, yet!
Thirdly, he's charged with four counts of cruelty to animals. I wonder (it's only curiousity) if he had sex with four different cows or one cow four times! Seriously, it's an odd thought but I'm confessing the thought!
Anyway, please keep your children safe, as well as your poor innocent animals! Poor Cow (s).
