Secret Exercising
By George Carroll

Exercising one morning,

Not too  strenuous at that.

Barely touched my toes,

Not much effort in fact.

Exercise is a job

And I hate work.

But I'm the boss

Can't squawk at that.

Well anyhow I thought

Of ways to avoid this effort.

I'll sit on my recliner

And let it do the work.

I have electric do dads

That give me a jolt.

A vibrator lets me snooze,

How refreshing is that.

I awake after my work out

All done while I slept.

Can'y beat that for exercise,

Nary a sweat did I break.

I won't tell anyone of my secret

But they'll notice how trim I got.

Surprises me also

Until  I remember I skip my snacks.
