On Wings Of An Eagle
I soar with eagles; I reach the fringes of a new heaven, and I taste the sky.
I carry with me on renewed wings a certain hope as I reach new heights.
I discover the thrill of being alive, and though I am an eagle, my eyes failed to see.
I had crashed myself against walls of doubt, but now thanks to a simple butterfly I am free.
Darkness falls fast behind me as I climb...climb ever nearer the golden bright sun.
I see the shadows that once consumed me melt beneath my wings.
I feel not that the race in which I had run is lost, but now by grace it is won.
I soar with eagles; and I dwell in magical gardens with flowers in full bloom.
I dine in sweetness amongst these gardens and beautiful things.
And I rest my spirit amongst flowers and butterflies near the warm / cool silver springs.
