In Memory of My Friend
Sweet little friend
You’ve left too soon
To take your final rest
The space you filled
Within my heart
Is now a hollow my chest
I will miss you more
Than you can know
For you brought me so much joy
But now sitting upon
The lap of God
Is my cute little Harley boy
Remain ever close
And watch over us
Protect our home from harm
And I promise you
This love in my heart
I always will keep warm
When the time does come
Into my life
To leave this earthly place
I know that’s when
I’ll again see that wag
And your fuzzy little face.
