“And I’m all yours,

In buttons and bows.”

Dinah Shore

They are adorable sisters

Little Buttons and Bows

We weren’t gonna keep them

To a shelter, they were gonna go

They were born, out in our garage

We soon took them in, from the cold

With our house, already filled with critters

We were adopting them out at eight weeks old

But the shelters are all full, these days

And these two, are such a delightful pair

We never see either one, without the other

Buttons and Bows are side by side, everywhere

Buttons got her name from her four white paws

Bows has little white markings, on each of her legs

These two, love to follow after my wife, all the time

So she decided to name them Buttons & Bows, one day

They have a mischievous brother named Billy the Kid

Who follows after me every day – he’s our Daddy’s Boy

But these two, little Buttons and Bows, are Momma’s Girls

And these days, they both give my spouse, much love and joy

They are adorable sisters,

Little Buttons and Bows;

We weren’t gonna keep them,

To a shelter, they were gonna go.

But the shelters are all full, these days,

So many, need Homes for the Holidays;

Your own Buttons & Bows may be waiting,

Why not visit your local animal shelter, today.
