I've shed more
Then my share
Of tears...

Tears that allowed me
To see beauty
When other's
Could not

Tears of happiness
Short and sweet
Allowing passage
To my mind-only one at a time

Through my years
I had infinite words
To convey
Still---

Have trouble
To this day
Trusting those
Who seek entrance to my soul
