Ancient Cutlery: Tines of Coven Three
ancient hilltop
wind-powered furnace
the Devil goes up in flames,
Tarot banishes the demon within,
the fire burns upward toward the Light,
the women sit
at the tree stump
table, red cloth napkins
draped over the Death card,
spear it with the three-tine fork,
eating it alive, a transition to a
new state, cut the unnecessary,
not far the way
the crow flies, the
radio Tower broadcasts
a divine source of power,
fire, lightning, falling, disruption
occured because it was needed,
the Magician, a
lightning rod, pointing
to earth to ground the potent
energy, this card a signal to act,
the evolution
of the fork, how
tines have multiplied,
numerology addressing
demonology,
the problem,
two tines good
for holding but of
little use in carrying
food from plate to mouth,
thus emerged
three tines, and
four tines, the fork
evolution story hypothesizes,
devices evolve
the way they do
because of dissatisfaction
the way the current system
works, we have so far, evolved
to coven three.
