River of Dreams

Dan Johnson

I’ve found a place to lay my head in restful sleep.

I’ve found a place where weaving through the slumber steams

I see only you.

And the dream begins.

Rivers run with passionate schemes, rippling through, and over and under loves heated fans.  There is something about the scent of your existence that intoxicates me…there you lie in that meadow called love, which gently flows in my river of dreams.

I dream, then dive, into your sweet sensual place, drinking from the fount while

Looking at your loving face…it’s all there in my river of dreams.

Should we, could we, would we, of course, we did it all…starting with gentle kisses, touches and embraces…then more touching…your soft suppleness melded into me, please don’t wake me  from this river of dreams.

I’ve never been to a place as serene as this place known only to me, this place called my river of dreams.
