This is the 2nd poem in a series of my favorites by my favorite poets.
I was introduced to this poem in the 5th grade by my 5th grade teacher who chose me to memorize and recite the last nine(9) lines for a school program.Am I glad I did not have to learn the whole poem!
Since the 5th grade, this poem by William Cullen Bryant has been one of my favorites.
