Last drop of rain

I Wish I Knew

Why are you looking at me so sadly

Cry, Violin!

From this night on...

Don't Say

Poetry by Liana Margiva

Don’t say: “ I missed you” to my heart

And of your misery don’t start:

My wounded heart can’t stand your pain.

Don’t say that suffered you in vain,

My image cherished in your brain,

Whilst wooing other day by day.

Don’t fret you failed to fall in love

I never stopped to love you,

When in the midst of night I hear

Birds’ songs of you in my keen ear,

When roaring thunder rumble start

Attempting to wake up your heart.

Don’t fuss you made a grave mistake

And our bond you chose to break.

I kept daydreaming of your love

Like of a star that shines above.

Don’t say you love me, empty words

Are flying high like  birds.

T’was I who loved you when in dream

In sea of bliss you took a swim

With other one, who’s lucky flesh

From dusk to dawn in bliss would splash.

I longed to touch your hand, your face

When you embraced your lover’s waist.

I was my eyes that blazed with love

When other one you called your love.

My heart was weeping at the part

Where other one you held to heart.

But time has come: you understood

My part in your life now for good.

I have become forever part

Of your tranquil and happy heart,

The part you lost for many years,

The one that mixed the joy with tears,

The one that brought to your domain

The bitter aftertaste of pain.

Don’t look in vain in ocean’s deep:

The crests of waves’ my soul will sweep,

The same waves where once before

Love married Youth for evermore.

The ocean beach where you await

I never left to seal my fate.

My soul remained on sandy beach

Aspiring you one day to reach.

So don’t regret not searching for

That peace of heart lost long ago,

Don’t try in vain my soul to wake:

I have presided at its wake.

So let me fly to sky, unbound,

Don’t take away the peace I found.

My life is ending, bridges burn,

I passed the point of no return…
