Days in our teens, high school classes, new blue jeans
So hard to believe we've come so far. Life has taken us
down a shaky road, some good some bad. But do you remember when:
On senior ditch day, we all drove to the lake? Got just a bit stoned,
sunburned, and next day had one nasty headache!
Partied hardy, partied loud, had a ball, drove our parents nuts,
but they survived it all!
Then came the day to walk the line. Graduation, a time we had
waited for so long. I kissed you on the cheek we said good-bye,
So nice to have known you, we've had great times.
And now thirty years later, we're here once together again, with all
the rest of our good friends.
We never thought we would see each other again, but the reunion just didn't
seem right. We would give anything not to be here tonight..
We came to see you one last time and give you our loving good-byes.
While we think and remember your wonderful personality and smile;
We silently ask ourselves, why did this have to happen?
You were much too young to die.
