My Name is Time: A Challenge

My name is Time. I am born out of Mother Earth´s revolution within its axis. I am the hour, I´m the minute, I´m the second, I´m the degree etc. Every 15 degrees of the revolution represent one hour which literally means that a complete revolution of 360 degrees would produce 24 hours which marks the end of the cycle and the beinning of a new one. I am not a mental construction as most scholars believe. I am a demonstration of truth based on the logical order of the natural phenomena which governs the mechanical relationship between man and the universe in particular, the earth and the sun. I am the traffic light that controls the pathways and the patters with which day and night take shifts. At 180 degrees, a night falls and at 360 degrees a new day is born and the cycle goes on and on. Here I depict a love scenario between the Day and Night where the two look for each other but cannot meet as each one has a fixed period to stay though at times they mix and merge due to seasonal changes.

Inspired by By Regis Auffray´s What of Tomorrow lovely article posted yesterday at the AD article section.

My name is Time
I am the reality of an eternal love
The off-spring of unmating couple
The hide-out of a missing love

My Name is Time
I am the gasp of an exiting soul
The breath of a newly-born baby
The holy union of divided hearts
The dividing line of love hearts

My Name is Time
I am the pestle in a bottomless mortar
The dying sound of distant echoes
The remnants of a retreating army
The glory of an advancing force

My Name is Time
I seek to separate the inseparable
I am mixer of the unmixable
The pillars of a broken bridge

My Name is Time
I am the melody of a love song
The rhythm of its fine lyrics
The sharp edge of a magical sword
If you miss to cut me, I won´t.
