Don't Wake Me...

Don't wake me
Let me sleep and live my dreams
Where wishes come true or so it seems
Where Mommy's smile every day
And there's a place to run and play
Where hugs and kisses are for me
Let me sleep, just let me be

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Don't wake me
Let me dream of a Daddy's kiss
That is something I have missed
Let me build a world all my own
Where Daddy's stay and are never gone
Where Mommy's hug instead of hit
There's no dark corners where I must sit

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Don't wake me
Let me float up on my cloud of white

Where Mommy loves me and we don't fight
Where Daddy's just don't ever leave
Such a beautiful world I can weave
Butterflies dance gracefully in the sun
While I happily play, skip and run

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Don't wake me
No one to love me, No one to care
Nothing but misery awaits me there
I live in the midst of hunger and cold
I am so bad is what I've been told
Let me sleep so my dream won't end
For when I awake my nightmare begins
