Who is?
That person who defies gender labeling
The one who wakes in the morning while darkness slumbers
A conscience never far away from the heart's steady rhythm
While others wallow in forgetfulness
The one who when a baby cries
Wonders past the obvious and pursues the tears not yet born
He or she who knows beyond feeling
Tolerates in lieu of judgment and communicates rather than indulge solipsism
That person who knows the joining of hands
Need not be a defense for weakness
A human who understands thinking needs the quiet
Knowing the rewards of identity reside within
Persons of true compassion remaining anonymous
As their part of millions preserves millions
