And God said,
Behold, I have given
you every herb bearing
seed, which is upon the face
of all the earth, and every tree,
in the which is the fruit of a tree
yielding seed; to you it shall be for
meat.

The revival
tent covered
in sheaves of
wheat, Pot luck
ham studded with
cloves, Carter family
brought the brownies,
there was plenty of cash,

and it
rained,
they gathered
around the tent
stoves, minstrel
mouth harps blow,

wet buds
are impossible
to smoke, the earth
bourbon whiskey-still peat
fire dried out the marijuana,

preparation,

troubadours sang
minstrels about God's
green herb growing wild
in the Old West, inspired    
free thinkers carried it in

And to every beast
