HE, used to hold a lamb!

I could have listed this under a religous experience, and though I believe of the Jesus story, I am not religious, but I believe in true lasting relationships, and so here is a true story, you can take it from there.

Have I told you yet?
A vision I had,
Up there,--- in the sky,
Tears brought to my eyes,
Don’t ask me why,
Happiness was there,
And so was sadness,
It might have been, because,
Because of the dancing,
On that stone beneath,
Beneath my feet where once,
She had danced in pure happiness,
Turned and turned in full abandon,
And now that she has left,
I am dancing for her,
So she can watch me from up there,
Or from within my heart and soul,
And sure enough she sends me a message,
There in the early morning light,
There before the clouds so bright,
The sun illuminating or was it?
I don’t believe it, my heart danced,
A lump in my throat, I stutter,
Is that you, is that you,
Jesus holding her in her arms,
No it wasn’t the sun, it was,
The brightness of them both, between,
Orange white voluminous clouds,
There she was cradled in his arms smiling,
Smiling, as she always was,
Happiness, but tears of sorrow and joy,
Jealousy, for the moment, awe the next,
And then, and then, deep hilarious laughter,
Tears streaming down my face,
No, from laughter, this is her for sure,
She did it again, that little imp,
What a picture, what a bucket of soul,
Pure genuine, aged true wine, labelled love,
She sends a most holy, yet hysterically funny,
Most genuine Jasmin message, I’m all right,
Albright, and still funny as ever,
I said Jesus; you treat her right will you,
And she said, everything is under control,
I have him fully in hand,
Now I know for certain there’s an afterlife,
For no truer words could she have spoken,
I just finished painting this overwhelming scene,
And it is most beautiful; it glows, like an icon,
It would make a most religious wall hanging,
But why am I laughing when I walk passed it,
Why can’t I take such serious religious experience?
Serious, why do I believe it actually happened,
Why for the reasons I mentioned, I know this is genuine little Jasmin,
And many times as I walk passed it, I look up at her, and then Jesus and say, you sure have your hands full, haven’t you.©28/12/2009
